I have been listening to a lot of Elvis Presley lately on CBS radio and the king covers the beatles, chuck berry, little Richard even Sinatra but I haven't heard a Jagger/Richards tune yet. And if he didn't any reason why?

Indeed the answer is a sad no.

There isn't a trace of Elvis acknowledging or mentioning any of the Stones or their music.

we all know that the king said the fab four were a bunch of druggies and commies .so i would think he thought along the same lines on the stones ?

I'm so glad that he didn't cover any Stones song, I just can't stand him!

Anything he said on the Beatles he did so privately. For any criticism he had about them, he covered plenty of their songs.

Otis Redding covered the stones in the 60's but the King didn't. Then in the 70's the Stones became known for their debaucheries ( sex, drugs and R&R)but Elvis "officially" became Mr Clean, very conservative, shaking hands with "dirty Dick" Nixon. The Stones were too much for Elvis to cover.
