If Mick for some reason had to get a temporary replacement for either Keith.. Ronnie or Charlie who do you think his first choice musician he would bring in for each one of them...(and I know that will never happen)..but would be interesting to see who he would give that honour to..if he really had to for arguments sake.

In total absolute honesty, I don't think that scenario will ever happen.

Even if Ronnie couldn't make it, I think they would hang it up and call it a day and I doubt they would call in MT.

The others are not replacable, IMO.

You can easily replace Keith and Ronnie with Charlie Sexton and Gurf Morlix, and then David Kemper on drums, but what stones is that to roll?

Keith is irreplaceable, just like Mick. Charlie could be replaced by Steve Jordan. As for Ron, he wouldn't have to be replaced in the studio, only on stage. There are plenty of extra guitarists available.

Said it before, but if they tour again and Ronnie can't and there's no MT come back, let Blondie step up and take the stage properly.

Seeing how he's been covering Ron and Keith's asses for years it's the least intrusive way round such a problem.

It would probably turn into a permanent temporary replacement.

Ronnie seems to be fine...as long as he's got his girlfriend to kick his ass..

Charlie = not replaceable!
Keith = likewise as Charlie!
Ronnie = Mick Taylor!

The thing is Mick would NEVER have Keith or Charlie replaced. And those two would NEVER replace Mick with some other singer. Not even for one night.
Keith talked about this in a TV interview, when he and Mick were sitting together just after they got the news about Charlie's throath cancer in August 2004

So the fact is: If either Mick, Keith or Charlie quit or die - God forbid - then it's over. You need not even think about a scenario "what if and who should replace who?".
If Ronnie quits, or..., the question is relevant, however.

They are more likely to augment the guitars by adding Taylor than replace Wood. And that's only for a few shows, not for a large-scale tour. Keith and Charlie - as has been pointed out - are not replaceable.

Doubt either was under serious consideration.

Besides, its a different scenario. They were still (relatively) youthful back then - not in their late 60s and on their last legs as a performing act.

If Keith or Ron had to be replaced, Charo is probably the most likely person to step in.
