I truely doubt it. It's one of their VERY very worst performances of the 1969-1973 era. There's very few "lackluster performances from those years, but Marquee 1971 is one of them. Jagger doesn't think it's up for snuff. And since it's in the hands/ownership of Rolling Stones Records, and not ABKCO (like "Rock & Roll Circus" ) .....he (Jagger) can call the shots.

But even a bad performance of the 69-73 era is great, but I hope they have/want many more and better live performances from that era (to) release.

Now you sound like those maniac Brian Jones fans! There's just no other conclusion to be drawn: the Marquee shows are among the very worst shows they have done, and certainly should not be released officially in any way.

I'm of the opinion that everything should be released though. I'm a fan, and if they did it I want to see/hear it, at least once, regardless of the quality.

Nah I don't think they'll ever release this and they shouldn't. It's not a good performance.
If they released this they might as well release a soundboard of Philadelphia '81 and a dvd of L.A. 7/11/75.

It was a TV broadcast.
The band didnt allow it to be shown in the UK as they werent happy with the performance.
I think that should answer the question as to whether they'll ever release it.
Then again, they werent happy with Rock n Roll Circus either...so I guess if we wait long enough, anything's possible - especially as there's nothing else from 1971.

There is a pattern with the Stones and their older video recordings - in that when it comes to release or broadcast, they were never happy with their performances. Perhaps they should've spent more time rehearsing!

perhaps they are comparing their current performances to their past...so there's hope they might release it.
Yeah average performance but a nice I Got The Blues makes it worthwhile to watch.
