I did not know this before I read his book, but the story about a gallery in Sweden payed him a mauwe Volvo for his art and said it was his to keep. After some time his house was surrounded by police in cars and helicopter. The car was rented in Stockholm and went to be stolen.

I believe this was in the very beginning of his painting career. The Stones were not touring and Ronnie was not making any money. So he painted, and went on tour with a Swedish band. (Totta's Blues Band, I think they were called.) There was a lot of coke and booze at the time, and Ronnie might have thought he heard them say: The car is yours to keep. This is just a theory, but with the entire chemistry kit in their veins, it's not a very unlikely one. I'm surprised he remembers anything at all from this era.

Apparently they also had planned to involve Keith in their extrended
blues band plans.
