Wha? Why don't they release the SF '72 radio broadcast? This is like releasing another flavour of Coke!

There is a Cleveland FM bcast in 72 of live songs from the tour in the collection of many, many collectors. I dont really know what venue they are from but Wolfgang is definately not the authority of radio bcasts even though they are a wonderful source for material(and much of it does not come from Grahams archives)

hey,

was this version already released before? because i have many versions, but i've never heard brown sugar without the drum intro and the break before angie is longer than on my boots (brussels affair - DE, the lost brussels etc...). maybe there are more differences, but i only heard it up to angie. but sadly @#$%& is missing here, too.

Brown Sugar is from Rotterdam and Street Fighting Man is from London. And All Down The Line is missing too.

Thank you very much. Do these run a little slow or do most boots from this show run a little fast? Just curious.

Actually the boots of this show run too fast.

I haven't checked this yet but your comments make me think this might have the correct speed.

Too bad it isn't complete !

All boots from this show so far are on correct concert pitch.

"Rock Out Cock Out" definitely runs sloooooooooooow, maybe because it's taken from vinyl.

I'm pretty sure "Headin for A Overload" runs at correct speed. Isnt one bcast from transcription LP and the other from reel to reel?

I have several versions of this material (The Lost Brussels, Brussels Affair Definitive Edition, Heading For An Overload, Nasty Music, Europe '73: The Ultimate Live Document, etc...) and I think all of mine run at the correct speed.

The boots sound the same speed to me as the first time I heard the shows om FM in 74 but theres nothing that makes this version any more official than the boots I would think. Actually I cant hardly tell any difference. All of WV material is pretty good quality but I think people should not be so quik to declare everthing that comes off the sight as the "definitive" version.

Yeah - and it can't be the definitive version, since it's an MP3 stream.

999; why not compare the Brussels recording with other Rolling Stones recordings - or your guitar, if you are confused about the pitch/speed.
