Pretty crazy it was three years ago. Me and all my college friends went, two of them flew here from San Diego for the show.

It was hot as hell at Fenway that day and night.

At the second show at Fenway, I won the text message ticket upgrade and went from behind home plate to the stage seats. Open bar as well.

I recall seeing you at the outside portion of the bar on Landsown street during their rehearsal on Friday evening. A special weekend, that is for sure.

those rehearsals were GREAT....we just happened to be sitting there, quaffing Guinness almost ready to order food, when they started playing....it was a PURR--FECT three days.

I knew that would seem like nothing being that there were people from all over the world at the show. Guess my point was, new Stones tour means all my college roommates reunite. And there were 8 of us so that is not always easy.

I was so excited that night. This one was taken in the backstage area right before the band came on with my friend's husband, Jimmy, who's also a huge fan. And yes, I'm aware that my arm looks fat, my sister was nice enough to point that out.

Yeah, I got a phonecall from StonesDoug, that there was going to be a dressrehearsal that night, so 2 of us got in a cab and headed over there, the rest of the gang were lost in Chinatown Sitting in the outdoor section of the CASK 'N FLAGON, drinking Long Island Ice Tea, eating onion rings, and listening to some great music. That´s great memories.

Damn - three years ago? It was so surreal seeing the Stones against the backdrop of the Green Monster and staring straight across (I was in the third base grandstand) at the 2004 World Champion banner. With about 8 Harpoons under my belt.

Beautiful.

The whole thing was not even there for me. I knew it was going on but then Katrina hit and there was no Rolling Stones in my life until October - that's when I finally got A Bigger Bang and was able to get to my record collection - which fortunately didn't flood.

I remember listening to ABB on the Stones website for 2 days and that was it. That was about 2 weeks after the storm hit. Then I forgot about it. I had important things to deal with. Such a weird time.

So...I'm glad there are threads like this one. It reminds me that life was doing what it does elsewhere and it lets me see what I missed, at least as far as paying attention goes.

There is always a lot of guitar talk as it pertains to the various Stones' tours. I recall loving the sound of Keith's guitar that night. I was standing very close to the mixing board...just a few steps away from Don Was. The sound I heard that night was as powerful as I've ever heard from Mr. Richards. I know you have to be in the right spot in a stadium to hear a guitarist in all his glory - I was just lucky that night. At least for me, the guitars were very loud in the mix.

Three years? Time flies when you're having beverages.

I was there for opening night as well! Drove down from upstate NY with my mother in law, who'd never seen them before and always wanted to. Four hours down, and four hours back, but worth every minute!! It was AMAZING!!!
