HB, is there more video from you to see? I like those then/now things you do a lot. The 315 Bowery address front sums up today's NYC for me. This was also the first time I really 'read' the words to LA Woman. "...Or just another lost soul in the City of Night".
I love it, a very good piece. There must be tons more of sites and landmarks to view and be discovered.
I would like to see a old picture of a stage or some kind of actual scene shot superimposed over the "now" picture to give the viewer a better perspective of what they are looking at, from the then and now perspective.
boogie--yeah, but the timing is a bit out of context--the first time i saw it i was a teenager and hadn't paid attention at all to the album cover - just always heard about "big pink" - but your point is fair - i should have clarified that --thank you for taking the time to watch it

Sicilian--i'll dig some comparisons up - i have them - so you know, the shot i took is from the site of the stage looking out - the band's viewpoint
(and yeah, there are hundreds of places like this - i wrote a book, "led zeppelin crashed here" that includes many of them)
