Just a mention to say The new official(is it about the first?) ZZ Top dvd(cheap $10 at Walmart) shot at the Nokia Theatre in Grand Prarie TX is great. Fantastic surround sound and they focus mainly on the older(best) material. Theres also some bonus interview footage where the guys comment on Keith.

This band was introduced to me by you, scottkeef, or someone else here two or three weeks ago, I've bought two CDs since - Tres Hombres and Rio Grande Mud. Like them both a lot! Very good playing, interesting band.
So I'm gonna check this DVD out, thanks. But unluckily there's no Walmart in my country and the price is gonna be much more than $10!

As great as Tres Hombres is I LOVE Rio Grande Mud. Especially the Brown Sugarish ending to "Francene"(which they hardly ever do live!) I you cant find you a copy imported somewhere, email me and I'll try to help you get a copy.

The Potsdam gig, just outside of Berlin, on the 12th July is for free!
ZZ Top was supposed to play the same free event last year, but had to cancell due to illness.
I was in Paris to see the Stones the day before - rushed back to Berlin without sleep, just to find out it was cancelled.

good to see Thin Lizzy is also on the bill - allthough there's only 1 original member left.... [www.thin-lizzy.net]

I love these guys. HOWEVER, the editing sucks...

Guitar solo - cut to Dusty Hills back or a drunk holding up a beer

You get the idea!
