Last night I saw Manu Chao live during 3h30 mins. A lot of his stuff was reggae versions.
And I made myself this reflection. Keith seems to be found of Marley (remember the flag during BTB tour (?)). He played with Toots and the Maytal, Max Romeo and others. 'Too rude' was on dirty work.
Why not a solo reggae record with friends, guests and original songs ? a good idea ?
I am a bit surprised it's not already done.

Id love to hear an album of covers from Keith. Just Keith, voice, guitar and piano, maybe with some soft drums and horns (bobby!). He really should record and release the songs he always loved, reggae stuff, blues, and COUNTRY (apartment n9, sing me back home, we had it all..). That would definetily NOT sound like Rod Stewart songsbooks and latest stuff. It could be a fantastic soulful album.
It seems that Ronnie is doin something like that!

Quote toomuchforme Keith produced the wingless angels record (HDCD process by the way). But that's all. This is not a Keith album and it's boring to my ears...
wether its boring can be discussed but Wingless Angels is hardly "Reggae" . its jamaican roots music, deeply rooted in, guess where, Africa.
