kleermaker's clips on YouTube
Posted by: kleermaker ()

Also thanks to the famous uploaders of IORR (well, you know them - thanks again guys!) I could upload some Rolling Stones music on YouTube.

I know almost all of you are familiar with the live performances I've uploaded, but you never know. There are also some nice pics included. So take a look and have a listen there if you like.

Until now I've uploaded the following:

1) You can't Always Get What You Want 1973:

2) Love In Vain 1971: REMOVED by ABCKO, but the 2 solo's are in this video:

3) Torn and Frayed 1972:

4) Gimmie Shelter 1973:

5) Ventilator Blues 1972:

6) Sympathy for the Devil 1969:

7) Acoustic music by Mick Taylor, 2001, part 1:

8) Acoustic music by Mick Taylor, 2001, part 2:

When I've uploaded some more I'll mention it here.

Great, greater, greatest, the best version of SFTD I ever heard, better than the one on "Get Yer Ya Ya's Out; where does it come from?

Yeah, heard it, too, a part of the melody and some words. It MUST exist a soundboard-version of this great, great interpretation for the official bootleg-series which I long for.

I'm glad you like it toosmiling smiley. It's from the show in Baltimore, Nov. 26. I think I wrote that on YT too if I remember well. DAC 015: Baltimore 26-11-1969 and Boston 29-11-1969 2nd show (Some Satanic Tour). It wouldn't surprise me if I've downloaded it here, but am not sure about it. In the notes you can read:

"The Rolling Stones
Some Satanic Tour, DAC-015
1969-11-26 Baltimore, Civic Center
1969-11-29 Boston, Boston Garden (2nd show)

some more from the tour 1969.
These are pretty good mono audience recordings.

enjoy!
scirius, 2007"

I think especially the end is moving, Jagger and Taylor (yes, the others as well) providing some drama there.

Well I hear something between "Hey Jude" and "Thank you" at the end, and twice. Reminds me of the Casino Boogie thread ;-). Mais pas de blagues cette fois, Swaytones!winking smiley

Ha NICOS,

1) Sweet Black Angel: VGP 133 'Ain't No Angel On Mainstreet' (Fort Worth, Texas US, 1972-6-24 1st and 2nd show (SBA only performed during the first show)).

2) Loving Cup: SODD 038/39 'Vancouver First Night' (Vancouver, Canada, 1972-6-3).

It's possible that I've downloaded them from IORR, especially SBA.

Greetings,

k

I love Baltimore Sympathy. Mick singing Hey Jude is priceless and wickedness of Taylor's solo is worth something about a million bucks. grinning smiley
it sounds Keith-ish though. Keith's "I'm not gonna stop it's my band" attitude and many Chuck Berry-like riffs here and there.
I'd love to hear a video with comparison of live 1969 takes on solos of Keith & Mick.

NICOS, for SBA you can try this one:

And for 'my' version of Loving Cup see this one:

As you see you can download it separately.
