Mick Jagger & Mr. Death

When he was younger, death was a recurrent theme in Mick’s lyrics.
Very amazing, don’t you think?
From memory:
What a shame (frightened of dying, it was the cold war)
Paint it black (I wonder what was his inspiration)
I am waiting (When Mr D. will come out of somewhere?)
The lantern (carry the lantern high to guide me through the darkness)
Gimme shelter (frightened of dying, VietNam war reference)
Dancing with Mr D.
Time waits no one (you know the man who’s chopping and reaping)

But maybe there’s some others…

Mother´s Little Helper:

Lifes just much too hard today,
I hear evry mother say
The pusuit of happiness just seems a bore
And if you take more of those, you will get an overdose
No more running for the shelter of a mothers little helper
They just helped you on your way, through your busy dying day
