4 Out Of Our Heads (US ed - Stones like piled boulders, & with ZITS!)
5 Ya Ya's
6 Some Girls
7 Let it Bleed
8 Buttons (compare Brian to debut album cover 3 years earlier, whoa...)

1. Beggars Banquet toilet
2. Exile on Main St.
3. Let It Bleed
4. Sticky Fingers
5. Beggars Banquet RSVP
6. Goats Head Soup
7. Some Girls

It's pretty interesting that the Stones best music coincide with their best covers (the four from '68-72 + Some Girls).

Let it bleed - cake, vinyl and the Stones - what's not to love?

Sounds crazy but I love the 'Still Life' cover.

"I'll be in my basement room with a needle and a spoon."

What was the "No Security" cover all about?

Without doubt one of my favourite Stones covers, indeed favourite album covers ever is No Security. Love it, can smell the doobie, beer, sweat and Rock 'n' roll coming out of it.

I like the debauched look of the couple but does anyone know if they are real fans or hired stooges (whose kids may have later appeared in Shine A Light)?!

Man, I don't wanna know if they're stooges, like in shine a light. knowing they were placed in the audience left a bitter taste in my mouth.

as for the cover of no security: In my mind they are rockers, there to enjoy the gig. Don't want to spoil that.

They are real fans, the photo was taken at Wiener Neustadt 1998... a concert I attended BTW. There were some advertisements for No Security in magazines, back then - featuring lots of pis similiar to the one that made it for the cover; but with different people
....It's an awful cover I think

Rather than start a new thread, what's the worst cover?
I'm guessing the vote is mainly gonna go to 'Undercover'(and it's inserts).
'Dirty Work' a close second?

I think my favorite these days is Black And Blue, cover-wise.

Where are the day's that you put on a LP record back then and looked at the cover while playing the record.

Nowedays's I need an magnifying glass and an 1000 watt lamp to figure out what's on the sleeve.

I dunno. That's a tough one. Sticky Fingers is cool but maybe not that cool. IORR is a really cool cover - as well as the back cover. Some Girls is very - you just KNOW who it is. Tattoo You is very cool as well. I thought Bridges was very cool. And I've always liked Undercover.

Let It Bleed is hilarious. As well as the intended version of Beggars.

I like the blandness of Sucking In The 70s but Rewind might be their best comp cover, with Made In The Shade right behind it. Time Waits For No One is very interesting but it might be too interesting. Jump Back is funny.

Worst LP covers - No Security ties with Flashpoint, Dirty Work, Goats Head Soup, Satanic Majesties, the stupid bunny on Voodoo...
