OT - Tiger Woods to speak out
Posted by: The Sicilian ()
Date: February 19, 2010 16:43

Tiger Woods the top golfer in the world will hold a "video conference" today at 11:00am eastern time. It is assumed that he will discuss his transgressions and possible future plans as the world ponders his return to the course.

He will then return to therapy for sexual addiction and marital counseling.

Men are always at fault for infidelities but women never seem to receive any blame. With celebrities and such, women only see a payday in the end.

I can't believe his arrogance. Holding his non-press conference at the same time the sponsor that dumpewd him Accenture is holding their tournament. At least the golf writers showed enough sense to boycott this thing and not give it any credence.

"sexual addiction"

It becomes a problem ONLY when you're famous. One of my friend has banged HUNDREDS of girls in his "career" and where's the problem? He never forced any of the girls he shagged into doing it. Why turning it into a disease that needs to be cured?

Another PC craziness?

The biggest news for the fans is that he says that he will not rule out playing golf in 2010.

If musicians had to fuss up about transgressions or affairs how many chairs would be needed?

"Men are always at fault for infidelities but women never seem to receive any blame"

Isn't it more that he is married with children and attempted to hide his "infidelities"?????

in most cases yes..in this case no.

he held himself out there as almost god-like.....he carefully generated this image
and made millions from the unsuspecting public. his fraud is definitely a public issue at this point.

had he only been a great golfer and endorsed a few products..I'd say it's great fodder for
tabloid readers but ultimately irrelevant. to me this is different because his formerly clean
image etc... is what he sold and what sold the products he endorsed.

i'm a tiger fan..i look forward to him being back out on the course
but am glad that his perfect image is shattered....especially since it was BS.

I'm sticking up for men here. Especially in the celebrity world women are constantly throwing themselves at men and quite honestly I think it would be quite difficult to resist some of these sexies.

Its like yelling at a kid for eating candy after putting it on the table for them to see.

Couldn't care less. Here in France the President had a daughter outside his marriage and nobody cared, that was his private life. Don't think the two men have the same responsabilities in life.

The matters is still private. Now they can debate if Woods was sincere or not.

Do we really care?

Who cares what he has to say? A golfer? he is the definition of oppression, rich, dumb and boring. He shagged a few waitresses and he has to give a phony apology so he can make more advertising money from suckers next year, big yawn..............

my only point (to respond to you statement ) ..it shouldn't be private.

he's a celebrity golfer..i don't care how many girls he DOES..i'd be disappointed if he wasn't found to be screwing around.

In the forties, he would've been called Errol Flynn.

We have totally lost our way as a society.

He's being punished because he's got a billion dollars and people hate that. Got nothing to do with 'France' or 'America'.

i agree....he's not a sex addict. he was getting his ROCKS OFF cuz he could
and because he felt entitled (as he said in the press conference).

my understanding is that SEX ADDICTS don't really get pleasure
they just need to fulfill the urge of the addiction.

Tiger was having affairs with a few of them.....dinner, small talk..promising
he'd leave his wife etc......long term, regular relationships.
