I know you said that -- I was just so shocked when I saw his anorexic-sized leg I forgot you'd commented on her hand, which seemed giant -- and someone else said she's a dude.

In fact, I almost went through the thread and assembled everyone's hilarious and sad and true comments in one place, because this has turned into quite a funny thread.

I don't think it's vicious.

If Ronnie looked happy that'd be one thing. But he doesn't. That makes me sad for him. I don't give a shit who he sleeps or hangs out with. I just don't like seeing him (1) on one hand: almost arrested from passionate public rows with an immature girlfriend, OR (2) on the other hand, dragging around looking bored, trapped, and sheepishly folding his hands in his lap with a dominant-looking woman.

I do not "like" eKaterina -- but Ronnie clearly did. He liked this girl. When he was with her, he seemed energetic and was as happy (as he was unhappy).

And clearly in a more powerful position in the relationship!

i don´t think he looks unhappy. and the new one doesn´t look or seem to be dominant as well.

let's not forget he's supposedly in a period of sobriety right now...he's facing some challenges and might be less likely to smile...

She is absolutely gorgeous but what does she see in Ronnie - I'm sure he can satisfy her - please there is not enough viagra out there for him to handle her!! SHe is only next to him because he is A Rolling Stone. It certainly has its priveleges!

Believe it or not, some guys do better when in a relationship with a dominant woman.

Not that I would know that, being married to a Colombian for 21 years....

I was paraphrasing Natlanta. I think Ana is a gorgeous woman, but she seems to be wearing the pants in the relationship.

And while it's true that relationships come in all flavors---and it's true some men prefer a more dominant woman. And it's also true that the innerworkings of relationship are known only by the people in them [and then sometimes only maybe].

But still, it just seemed to me, regardless of what we experts of Ronnie think about who he should be dating. And who will get him in shape for touring again. That regardless of our hallowed opinions, the man himself seemed really into Katia. And seemed pretty morose with Ana.

It's true he's quitting drinking. And having just celebrated 18 years of being sober (this week), I can say from memory, early sobriety is not a jolly time. It's very intense. You're processing a lot of gunk. Still. Regardless of her many charms--and she does seem together, cool, interesting, etc--Ana doesn't seem to be Ronnie's romantic/erotic cuppa tea -- and yes this is based on the silly stories and awful stolen images of them from the papparazzi.

And even as I write this I'm also like: aaaaghk! who the fvck cares?!
