Flip the Switch is probably about S&M

My innocent mind just learned a new vocabulary term - a switch is someone who...well, you can probably figure it out.

Mick, Mick, Mick, you kinky fellow.

Hmmm, never even thought about the subject matter of the song. Thanks for the interview excerpt, Rockman. Not really a great song per se, but nice musical elements - I dig the guitars, bass line, drums, and it has a good Mick vocal.

Indeed, the upright bass jumps out on the recent remix of B2B.

and the drums, full and upfront. an incidental part of that song that I always enjoy is the 'oh yeahs'...for some reason.

Bridges To Babylon got a remix? That's news to me!

Yeah, for sure.

The actual track was supposed to be about 25 min. long according to timeisonourside.com. I bet Charlie must have gotten a good night sleep after that one.

You haven't heard about it? It was Anybody Seen My Baby With Kanye West, Gunface with Lady Gaga, and Saint of Me with Bono, Jay-Z, AND Chris Martin from Coldplay!

I always thought it was clearly about a Death Row convict.

And yes, duke richardson, I totally agree - those "oh yeahs" really make it for me too. Funny how little things like that make the difference!

When I first heard the lyrics of this song ,the only idea that came onto my mind was Keith & Mick jabbing at each other, as a kind of allegory for their fights & misundertandings .

I.V ?
Yes,why not because of "a sweet addiction/I can't clean you out of my veins"

"One punch and you knocked me down/tore my defenses apart/One round took me out of the game/you did me some permanent harm "
It really seems to me he's talking about heroin ...or something else that needs to be taken to a 2d degree.

Almost any Stones song can be about sex or drugs or both if you are really determined to believe that it is - but one or two of them are about other things...

I think I believe Keith on this one.
