OT. Street View on Google Maps

There's a (new to me) option on google maps that allows you to scroll down some streets in a persons perspective.
how cool is that!?
I don't know how many cities are availlable but New York City is a fine start.
[maps.google.com]

what's the address of the Beacon?
...or some other noteworthy location

Drag the street view to look around 360°.
Use the arrow buttons to navigate down the street.
You can also use the arrow keys on the keyboard.

You can find your place very easy by typing the place and the name of your
street

err, yes of course, but there's no street option for Berlin.

Unfortunately, the cameras are noe "live" - at least not for Scandinavia. Looks like summer days on the screen; but it's not in reality

If they where live cameras, you'd be stuck in the traffic.
...and you couldn't drive in the wrong direction.

never the less, it's cool to have a 360° look around at the Madison Square Garden for instance, from your pc.
