Yes, it's a very good documentary film. I saw it in a theatre (the Film Forum?) in New York circa 1996. Best bit is at the very end; John Cale performs Frozen Borderline solo at a piano in what may or may not be one of the old Factory locations.

I also saw it at Film Forum during that run, Tatters. I ran out and bought it the day it came out (on VHS first, then later on DVD). If you are a Nico fan, it is a must-own. Actually, it's such a great and terrible story, so lovingly told, I suppose one needn't be a fan of Ms Paffgen to enjoy it.

Highly recommended.

Just a little correction: Frozen Warnings is the song Cale sings at the end of the movie. It has a line that goes "Frozen warnings close to mine, close to the frozen borderline". Frozen Borderline is actually the title of a Nico compilation.
