Every single website I look at has it as January 25, 1944. Not that that means anything, but...

Just to be safe, I've decided to celebrate it January 25 to April 6.

It's April 6th, and that is from Marlon himself.
Don't know how the January 25th date got started.
Probably the same way Suki Potier turned into Poitier, etc.
But Anita's birthday IS April 6th. Now, the year has not been confirmed. I do have a Playboy from early 1962 featuring the "Women of Rome" so she would have had to have been 18, I think. I believe the year is 1944, but could be wrong. She changed it to 1947 in a recent interview, and Marianne called her out on it in the interview, which was funny.

That is a superb site. But why do the photos end in 2008? Has the owner abandoned it?

It's a very peculiar thing - date/year mystery... Anyway, here's an article from a recent film shoot:

The woman in the photo above is not Anita. It's Biba founder Barbara Hulanicki. Another media screw-up. There are a couple of Getty Images of Barbara labeled as Anita too. They do look a bit alike as far as hairstyle and skin color, maybe Barbara does it intentionally. Here is a page on Barbara:

As far as me not updating the site past 2008 - Anita hasn't really been seen out and about over the past year. I update all the other albums whenever "new" old photos of Anita come out, and have just added some new Cannes pics, as well as some newly-released photos of Anita on the set of Barbarella.
