fantastic interview with Mick. apologies if already posted. His thoughts on Brian's death, religion, the film Performance....better than most of the recent question sessions

Correct, although in fairness hes hardly going to announce it in a way like this if it was....
Thanks for posting the Independent interview, gerrox. A good one. Interesting to know that he reads Richard Dawkins! Must say that the photos on both articles do look a bit airbrushed...

EVERYONE should read Dawkins' The God Delusion ... it's quite a relevant book in today's insane world.
Thanks gerrox for posting! Nice interview, I liked the John Lennon part. I had to look up a coupld of words >..a very acerbic side, I dont want to say a Scouse thing...>
acerbic -adj
1. sour or astringent taste 2. harsh or severe as of temper of experssion- ( ex: acerbic criticism)
Scouse - n.
1. a lobscouse ---??? (I dont know... thats what it says)
2. a) often Scouser, a native of Liverpool, England
b) The Dialect of English spoken in Liverpool, England.
( I think the second definition, and part b of it is how Mick was using it.)

Lobscouse used to be the local variant on a cheap stew. Most tight-knit poor communities develop an economical dish which becomes forever associated with that area. Naturally enough, Scousers gained their nickname from the local nosh.
