Anybody of you know this remastered Album?? In the german music-magazine "good times" they say, its just great and was released 34 years after its original.

THE REMASTERS SCAD'S released a few years ago is great...get the real thing!!

It's Mickboy's vision of the 'perfect' TSMR album, adding those additional tracks recorded around the same time.

I got it from a friend a few years ago, and I have to admit it makes for a powerful album. Personally, I think this 'version' of Satanic, had it been issued this way at the time, would have elevated it to Masterpiece level with Beggars, Bleed, YaYas, Sticky, and Exile.

I don't think Child of the Moon was complete enough for release in 1967 though. The version that appears on the b side of JJF was recorded in 1968.

I think the original album is fine as it is. tongue sticking out smiley

I don't think Mickboy's remastering is the strength of his releases--especially since 2002 when the new CDs came out--but that he puts the relevant outtakes together with the albums. I have trouble, with all the different assortments, remembering which songs were done when.
