I think a bit of the problem, if it is one, is that he gets worshipped for drinking and such stuff, cause many people think it´s cool or it´s looking cool. But it´s a heavy topic to talk seriously about this. For myself, i really like to drink, and sometimes to drink a lot, it´s this vicious circle of being or thinking to be an artist (musician, writer) there are so many points to mention...
Anyway, to answer the question: I don´t think that´s a problem for him because he´s so long into it,.. i think it´s a problem for them sourounding him (band, family, real friends) not for the masses...

more like he´s upholding his image. don´t think he has a alcohol problem anymore.

I always thought Keith could keep a steady pace with his drinking contrary to real alcolics. I'd say he is a semi-alcolic, Ron a true alcoholic and Mick a non-alcoholic who likes to get drunk now and then - like the majority of us. The "Keith too drunk to stand on his feet on stage" is actually a new Keith to me.

Funny though how tolerant most people are with Keith, imagine Mick behaving like that on the stage just for one gig. Forgetting to sing, falling on the stage etc. I don´t think no one would accept such behavior from Mick.
