When the stones play live Why does Mick Jagger always play guitar on Miss You and Just my Imagination and not the rest of the songs?

hes played or plays on lots of other songs Such as when the whip comes down, dont stop, streets of love Rain Fall Down, Back of My hand,, let it bleed, waiting on a friend, Mixed Emotions and more...

He didnt play on Imagination when I saw it preformed in Nov of 2006. I dont know if in general he doesnt play on that one any more or if its just because it was on the b- stage

He did play acoustic guitar on Sweet Virginia in Nijmegen 2007 and I've seen him play on other songs as well like Saint Of Me, not just the ones you mention.

I think he played guitar on RAAHP and SSS and maybe Respectable back in 1998, but I'm not certain. Never seen Lies.

He typically plays guitar, most often acoustic, on at least one song per show.
Some I remember were:

Let it Bleed in 1981
She's a Rainbow in 1998
Rain Fall Down in 2005
Miss You in 2006
Sweet Virginia in 2007
Waiting on a friend in 2007

He definitely played on "Respectable" for No Security - not sure about '78, though. It was the Tele with the striped pickguard.

He played a Tele (blonde - the 1950 one?) in Open G on "Don't Stop" in '02/'03, as well.

And don't forget about "Fingerprint File" in '75!

Probably the same one as he used for I Go Wild in 1995

He used a sunburst Strat here as well, but not the same as for Respectable in 1978.Looks like one he borrowed from Ronnie, with the vibro-arm in mind?

Fender Kingman is an acoustic. On the video from East Rutherford 1994 it looks like a custom-made Fender, similar to the one Ronnie uses for Street Fighting Man at the same concert?

Yes you are right Justin. I looked the Fender Kingman up on the Fender .com
I never tought of that.
But i saw a picture in a germen magazine one`s, showing the Stones guitars .
Also the Out of Tears guitar ( The Black one with the white shell pickguard.
It was as i understand now, incorrect described as a semi electric accoustic Fender Kingman???? So i always assumed it was a Kingman .Sorry
And yes i have seen Ronnie use it as well.
