You might at least remember the stage...

Compared to all the Feeders and Razorlights and Starsailors of today,
they had at least some rocking tunes and good riffs.

Oh Yes, I saw them in Cologne 05/1990 O. Act for the Stones.
Gladly, the Toten Hosen were also Opening Act at that Evening.

As I remember wagly, he said "We are Gun, we are from Scotland" Correct me , If I am wrong

They bored me to death..like Starsailor, Feeder, Kasabian,Tragically Hip and all the other "new" bands. They had some good support acts though, like J.Geils Band, AC DC, Black Crowes, ZZ Top,,,,and yes, I also liked Big Country more than most of the other trash they usually have nowadays.

That was another band called "Gun" out of the 70s.

Big Country is (were?) a great band. Saw then at Roskilde. Great for a huge venue.

Last time i saw them was in 98 (big Country) soon afterwards the singer commited suicide rip.

I wonder if I ever saw them - I might have been to late or they just bored the daylights out of me. I can't remember.


anyway - starf*****sailor and Peter Maffay were the most horrible acts I heared and couldn't get away. even outside the stadium - yuck

it's no option to rather be dead - cause you're gonna miss the Stones - so, there.

Best support act was Peter Maffay, Hannover 82. Lot's of fun!
