Time for this "Ronnie" name to stop. When you get past a certain age you should add dignity and use the mans name...Ronald.

Thank you.

When he was with the Faces I think I remember people just calling him "Ron Wood." How about that? As for Kathy51's comment...guess we'll have to wait for Ekat's snarky comments on Big Brother.

Funny this topic came up. Just this morning I was thinking of going to Austria to see Charlie play and I thought what if I bumped into him. Should I call him Charlie or Mr. Watts? I had the same situation when I saw Chuck Berry, I said Hi Chuck to him excitedly and he responded with a very low toned "good evening" Kind of got the feeling he didn't want to be bothered. Of course that's a difficult situation for both sides.

The name "Woody" is just kind of creepy at this stage of the game. Ron Wood is just fine...Keep the Ronnie and Woody out of the equasion.

I've been at just ONE event where Ronnie (sorry - Ronald) had a guest spot, and was actually introduced as RONALD DAVID WOOD. It was at the memorial tribute gig for his lare brother ART, laid on by the Eel Pie Club if Richmond/Twickenham, at which ART was a regular. Anyone else remember that ?

I gather that in some parts of the English speaking world, possessing a "woody" has other connotations. >grinning smiley<

Are you hoping for the same effect, Aunt Polly was expecting?

"Thomas Sawyer!"
Tom knew that when his name was pronounced in full, it meant trouble.

...well, it didn't work then...

this is stupid.
He is still called Ronnie.
OR is there some kind of age-limit for rock n roll?
Should we start calling chuck berry for his real name?

shut up man, go to bed.
