Sorry, I made a mistake. Where else would I be heading on August 21st, duh!!!

Seems I can't make reservations on this on either Thalys or Die Bahn right now, only raileurope (US co.). And raileurope wants $98 USD.

Do you need reservations for this (August 21, morning train)?

Is it a high speed train?

Anyone?

You should likely have reservations for Eurostar. Haven't made mine yet, but I understand there are a number of fare classes and the sooner you book, the better the deal. Also, it can sell out...

As someone who waited several years trembling at the thought of being on a train in "the deep," now I am a confirmed believer. It's wonderful! A very beautiful train.

Prices vary greatly. I find it easier to call RailEurope and discuss all the pros and cons. 2nd class is fine. But do it NOW! The seats fill up VERY quickly.

So much easier than slogging to and from airports.

It seems all trains on this site are ones that start from England and go to France or wherever, not the other way around

Go into www.raileurope.com and try again, shows $74 US from Paris to London Aug 21 and same returning next day... See below (more times available both ways) and see you (maybe) in London - I'm aiming for the 23rd and 26th, still trolling for a decent ticket on the 21st...
