Alastair Stewart chose the Rolling Stones as his specialist subject on Celebrity Mastermind last night and won the show. He also said at the end that the people he would most like to interview would be Mick Jagger and the pope, although Jagger would be first choice.

I've seen 3 people on Mastermind choose the Stones as their specialist subject over the years - and I've got higher scores than all of them! I'm sure I wouldn't be alone in that on this site, however.

One of the BBC's weathermen chose The Stone Roses as his subject last night - great choice, that one.

Either I've learned a lot about the Stones lately or the Celebrity Mastermind questions were fairly easy - the only non-celebrity Stones contestant I've seen got much harder ones.

I've always wanted to go on there and have the Stones as my subject. Damn.
