Bill Wyman - a PR Man? This is Rather Strange, but Sad and Hilarious Too

Have you guys seen this?

OK, I have to admit I grabbed this from Shidoobee, but it was too good not to.

The best quote that I have seen thus far off Shidoobee:

"This is more disturbing than Keith snorting Bert...."

Whats wrong with you people, the guy is just doing what he wants to do and enjoy life. He gave years of his life to music so you could enjoy your life, now return the favour, either thank him or leave him alone.

My sentiments exactly. He is in retirement and doing what he enjoys. It is not sad, hilarious or anything of the sort. I say more power to him.

Wow. I never understand how anyone can quit the Stones but seeing this is more than a little sad. Maybe he really is into detecting and if so, great, good for him. I just can't imagine being happy after going from playing stadiums to using a metal detector to sift through rubbish for ancient coins. Good for him though.

Bill is enjoying his retirement, well deserved at that.I was fortunate to meet him a few years back and he really has an amazing memory for Stones detail.Long live Bill.

Actually Bill seems to live a busy and more varied life than his former band mates - managing restaurants, playing live with his own band, books, making records and metal detecting. Good on. I hope he sells truck loads of them.

This is a joke, It tops Keith. Wonder what Mick have in mind for us.
Look at the detector,Its covered with his name. This cant be for real. Maybe hes old and senil? I dont know much about him these days.

That's a loooong list... How large are those places? Does he play to 200 people, 1000 or 2000? Just wondering what audiences he plays for these days.

I reckon a couple of hundred at each place. That was the attendance last tour.

Here you got it all, with cartoonesque animation and funny noise.

This is ridiculous.

To be fair, BW sticks to his style. He investigates the dectector the same way he would explore the fretless bass 45 years ago. Picky and meticulous.

They can't win, can they? When Bill plays smaller venues for smaller audiences, it's all wrong. Yet we read endless appeals on here for the Stones to do a few club gigs.

Bill is obviously enjoying his retirement and his hobbies. Don't see anything strange or sad in that.

BW has moved on to another phase of his life... that's all.
He seems happy.

In heaven's name, that's just 500 meters from me! Bill can do everything he wants in this town, nobody will recognize him, the name Bill Wyman doesn't ring a bell on people here!

Didn't Bill have his name on a "Groupie Detector" back in the day? Used to work like a hot-damn for him I hear.
