La casi segura visita de los Rolling Stones a San Sebastián genera en el ambiente rockero guipuzcoano entusiasmo y escepticismo al mismo tiempo

SAN SEBASTIÁN. DV. Todo apunta a que vienen. La considerada mejor banda de rock del mundo, formada por sus 'majestades sátanicas', The Rolling Stones, descargarán con toda probabilidad sus himnos rockeros sobre el estadio de Anoeta de San Sebastián. Si se confirma, y parece que sí, el inicio del verano donostiarra sonará con los riffs de la guitarra de Keith Richards y las carreras con las que 'morritos' Jagger demuestra su eterna juventud.

El mayor espectáculo musical del mundo está a punto de visitarnos y este acontecimiento genera opiniones en el mundo del rock guipuzcoano. La gran mayoría recibe el evento con el mismo grado de entusiasmo y escepticismo, pero todos consideran que sería una gran oportunidad para disfrutar del directo de una de las bandas más influyentes de la historia del rock.

Que los Rollings tienen una identidad musical propia e intrasferible es indiscutible. También lo es que se venden al mejor postor y que, una vez cerrada la gira, tienen esa costumbre tan 'rollingstoniana' de suspender masivamente conciertos por problemas varios, que pueden ir desde una afonía de Jagger, hasta una caída de cocotero de Richards, pasando por las recomposiciones anímicas de su colega Ron Wood.

Toda la música negra

El guitarrista Iñaki Fisuras lo tiene claro: «Yo aprendía a tocar la guitarra viendo a Keith Richards. Es el músico que más me ha influido. Los Rolling han estado a lo largo de toda mi vida musical, en ellos se da el rock, el blues y toda la música negra. Parafraseando una de sus canciones, Los Rollings son sólo rockanrroll... pero me gusta. No sé si el concierto se celebrará al final, pero yo tengo claro que si vienen haré lo posible por verles».

Otro músico que no dudará en ver a los 'chicos terribles' del rock es Cheli, teclista de La buena vida. Para él, que ya ha visto a los Stones en cinco ocasiones, «los Rolling son garantía cien por cien del mejor directo de rock. No en vano ellos se anuncian como 'la mejor banda de rock del mundo', porque realmente en directo lo son». El ex guitarra de Puskarra y ex teclista de Amor a traición estuvo en el primer concierto de los Rolling en 1976 en Barcelona y ya allí descubrió que «en escena daban el callo y que los acordes de Satisfaction, que los conoce todo el mundo, sólo en los dedos de Richards son al auténtico Satisfaction. El año pasado fui a Valladolid y allí mismo me enteré de que el concierto había sido suspendido... pero si vienen a Donostia no dudaré en volver a verlos».

Escepticismo lógico

Para el guitarrista de Chico Boom, Imanol G.A., «sería estupendo verles aquí, aunque, hasta que no les vea en el escenario no me voy a hacer muchas ilusiones. Supongo que esa incertidumbre que rodea sus concietos les hace ser especiales, pero... ¿qué hace un tipo de la edad de Richards subido a un cocotero?».

Optimista con el concierto y crítico con ciertas ayudas municipales se muestra Pedro Abalos, de Latitud 43. «Sería cojonudo volver a verles. Les vi en Bilbao y el concierto fue increíble... estaría bien que el ayuntamiento, además de este tipo de eventos tan espectaculares, se mojase también un poco más en habilitar salas para los grupos locales que no tenemos donde tocar». De la misma opinión es Dani, guitarrista de Underneed, «que vengan los Rolling es algo grande para la ciudad y para la música, aunque creo que este tipo de actos tienen bastante de electoralista y efectistas. Deberían de involucrarse más con los grupos de rock locales». Y Mikel, de La buena vida, considera que «el concierto en sí es un puntazo. Es la mejor banda de rock de la historia», aunque también cree que «no es bueno que la administración sólo se mueva para este tipo de eventos tan magníficos».

Dani, de E.I.H.E., cree que el concierto será fantástico «al igual que los precios que habrá que pagar por verlo» ya que «tres millones y medio de euros es mucho dinero para sacar en taquilla». Javier Sun afirma que es uno de los conciertos pendientes en su vida. «Por diversas razones nunca los he podido ver. Son un icono de la historia del rock y me darían un alegrón si se dejaran ver por aquí». Javier Sun, que se muestra feliz por la marcha de su nuevo proyecto, Mod Time, está convencido del «pacto que los Rolling han hecho con el diablo para seguir ininterrumpidamente en el circo del rockanrroll».

«Capitalistas del rock»

Juan Carlos Landa, de Sanchís & Jokano, tiene claro que el concierto se lo llevará quien más puje. «Si alguien ha sabido gestionar el 'show business', esos son los Rolling Stones. Son los grandes capitalistas del rock y me parece honrada su postura. Ellos nunca han vendido ideología ni romanticismo con su trabajo. Siempre han querido ganar el mayor dinero posible con el rock y siempre lo han dicho». Pero no todo se queda en el negocio, para Jokano «son un referente cultural de primera fila. Sinceramente creo que hoy deberían estudiarse en los institutos antes que Cervantes».

The well known greatest r&r band, their Satanic Majesties, The Rolling Stones, will be playin rock and roll hymns in Anoeta stadium, in San Sebastian. It finally it comes to be true, and it seems to be true, in the begining of the summer in Donostia (San Sebastian) Keith Richards´guitar riffs will be listened and rubber licks Jagger´s runs, showing his eternity youth, will be seen.

The best musical show of the World is ready to visit us and this celebration makes several opinions. The vast majority think the show with a point of enthusiasm and scepticism, but all of them think this is a major chance to enjoy the live show of one of the influential bands of the r&r history.

The Stones have got and incuestionable own, musical identity and it can not be put on controversial. The same thing is true, they can sell themselves to the best purchaser and as soon as the tour is confirmed, they´ve got the 'rollingstonian' use of cancelling shows, due to different motives, from a Jagger´s laringytis to a fell off from a coconut tree in Richards´ case, including picking up the pieces of Ron Wood´s sense of humour.

All the black music.

Dani, from E.I.H.E., spells that the concert will be fantastic «the same thing will happen with the ticktets´prices» because «three and a half million euros is much money to earn with ticket prices». Javier Sun says this is a must to be concert for him. «I have never been able to see them. They are a rock and roll myth and I´ll be very happy if they come». Javier Sun, is completely sure that «the Rolling Stones have come to an agreement with the devil to follow with no interrumption in the rock and roll circus».

«Capitalists of the rock»

Juan Carlos Landa, from Sanchís & Jokano, is convenced that the promotor who can offer the biggest amount of money will organize the show.
. «If somebody has been able to controll the 'show business', they are the Rolling Stones. They are the great capitalists of the rock and I think they are honest. They have never sold their ideology or romanticism with their work. They have always wanted to earn the most amount of money playing rock and have never denied that». But is not only business, Jokano says «they are a first level sign of the culture. They should be a matter of subject in the High Schools even before than Cervantes».
