All the readers of impressive books discussed in a previous topic, might like to know that apparently the Stones will likely play in Montenegro this summer.

Any IORR fans of Rex Stout who wrote the Nero Wolfe detective stories will recall that "Wolfe" was born in Montenegro.

Naturally, I am trying to make this a VITAL reason to see the band in Montenegro, a place I have always wanted to vist.

is it part of the balkans? i seem to recall that it's name on maps have changed or been in limbo...

on beautiful Adriatic coast, borders Croatia.

thanks! i've been hoping to go to the shows in that part of the world but there are not enough shows right before greece and after bucharest for me (at this point). adding that one would be great. the only thing that might deter me from that schedule would be club dates elsewhere...

some places there on the coast are hype.. the newest hype for the VIP's no joke at all!

what do you mean - promoted for tourists?

I don't think they will play Serbia and Montenegro. Would be strange

What I was told was that because of great publicity benefits to developers in the region these concerts are likely. However since Michael Cohl is a great businessman and concert professional he undoubtedly will check it all out very carefully.

There really is more to it than money. Like security and the promoters hiring well experienced staff, and protecting the safety of the public as well as the band, etc. etc.
