Currently 12.25 in Georgia USA. In about 3 hours, I'll get started. A steak on the grill, a cold beverage, Mrs. Elmo and my two boys, maybe a friend or two, and some good music in the background.

I've built a cooking/party house behind my house that I really get to use a lot. It's up to about 70 here today. Almost perfect! Friday, to boot!

Elmo, you're killing me!!! It's 37 degrees here in the Great Pacific Northwest and cloudy. However, I DO have a grill on my back covered deck and I often barbecue throughout the year, even when it's freezing outside.

Dave, call the airport. You can be here in 5 hours! I'll have ya a cold one waiting.

BTW, a local newspaper did a story about my party shack (AKA The Dawg House) last year!

Man that sounds good!

Steak, beer, and good music all go together very well.

By the way elmo, did you see the stuff about picasso's last words that i got from wikipedia in the 'what are you listening to' thread? It was in reply to your question about whether the words were really his last.

Cheers!

Currently in London, its a strong Jack 'n' Coke, lots of ice, with exile playing LOUD!

It's not that cold her near LA, only 49 ferenheight, but the heater in my dorm room is broken and the window is stuck open, so it's cold in here. So, I'm being booring and drinking hot tea at the moment.

????? Unaccpetable. Tell your RA to get that damn window fixed!!

Fixing the heater would be nice too, but Maybe not such a priority for L.A.

The heater was just "fixed" because it was stuck on during a hot spell last weekend. Their remedy was to turn it off all the way. Our maintenance people aren't the most competent of all people. And the window technically closes but the building smells really bad because college students have lived here since at least the 50's, so I need to keep the window open a bit to be able to breath.

I lived in dorms once and I forgot about that. Its that dorm smell. Yes, I can see why you need to keep the window open. Inscence and/or candles help too.

Can you post the article about the Dawg House? I'd love to read it. What paper did it? Cheers!

I'm trying to post it 5-string.

It was in the Cordele (GA) Dispatch - September 4, 2005.

Party house? Sounds cool, Elmo. I will soon help you rename it "the place where ohnonotyouagain crashed for several weeks until Elmo was forced to throw him out."
