all right, so if no one else is feeling helpful:
the scene is Hampton Virginia, december 18th 1981 - Keith's 38th birthday.
he didn't "totally whack the guy with his guitar" - if he had, the guy would probably be dead.
he did it because the guy didn't belong on the stage and the security types were too slow.
the guy was arrested; Keith bailed him out after the show and never got his money back.

and/or by going to Keith's site and going through the "Ask Keith" section.
and/or by reading just about any relatively recent book about the Stones.

anyway it's a 100% rock & roll moment. Keith said later:
"the guitar didn't go out of tune - that really impressed me with those Fenders."

I had an idea of what the clip was and wanted to explain it but either my computer or youtube was doing that thing where the clip never loads,I love it when that happens. so I couldnt say for sure without actually seeing what it was.


the thing that would make that scary is all the baloons. you cant see anyone coming at you, so even after keith took care of that guy, who knew if somone else would rush the stage.

That TFI Friday interview with chris evans is great. I remember I was soooooo excited to watch it. Keith with the blue dye in his hair.

And Ronnie, when chris asks him, (about the tour etc) so how is it? And ronnies like, hang on a minute (takes a large slurp of his pint of guinness) and has this very satisfied look on his face and referring to the taste: "oh it's excellent...!"

Keith drinking out of miniatures, and his crazy 'shaking a bag of rocks' laugh is on top form.

There is some killer live footage of jumping jack flash as well.

I've got it on VHS somewhere.

I always felt those were their best interviews. Chris really took a different approach and asked very interesting questions. And none of that "How do you guys stay together for 40 years" garbage.
