Yep, Golden Earring. I've seen them 5/6 times, it was my first rock concert ever, at age 12/13. They play tight, fast and loud, almost 2 hours pure music. THAT would be a great support act, although I doubt that Barry Hay will ever open for the Stones. Am I mistaken here?

De Dijk is a great rock/bluesband too, and Anouk (quickstarted by the Golden Earring) is doing great, she finally has found a band that meets her qualities. Our Dutch blues-chick...

Blof, although maybe a bit poppy from time to time, not enough 'rock' for the av Stones fan, is a wonderful live band, they really play great, especially at smaller venues. I've seen them in Vredenburg: wow.

Then we have Ilse de Lange: probably also wellknown by US-public, where she was popular before she became big here.

A band I don't like much is Kane. Can't help it. Too wannabee macho, too Bon Jovi.
