Boy,the drummer sure is into it,huh? This is a band that has been hyped up and I've always wondered if they were any good.Well, now I know they suck ass on a grand scale. The evidence that everything MT touches turns to gold is getting harder and harder to see.The guys voice is horrible. The drumming is terrible. The guitar playing is lame. The bass player is sub par.The looks of the band are typical 60's crap.Other than that, its the greatest thing since The Monkees.....

Pleased to meet you......

LOL! I partly agree with yap yap. But Mayall -- and Taylor -- did much better than that and we know it.

Terrible playback, by the way. Ugh!

Hey it was 1968 and many musicians did care for lip-syncing. I remember the song
it was BIG on the radio stations in California, back then.

This lineup produced some quality music back then so take your "LAME"
comments Yap and shove them back where they came from - A-Hole!!

agree 100%..john mayall rocks....

next thing you know we'll have somebody saying the beatles sucked..oh wait a minute, we already had that..

its truly unbelievable that someone would bust on john mayall.. the man was/continues to be a force.... how many great guitarists got their starts or close with him???? peter green, clapton , mick taylor off the top of my head..

its just amazing to me to read a purported stones fan busting john mayalls chops.. i mean obviously the stones though highly enough of him to hire mick taylor from him! i mean blues is a big part of what the stones are about..if you don't appreciate john mayall you need your head examined

I love the blues...John Lee Hooker,Otis Spann,Leadbelly,Howlin' Wolf,Robert Johnson,BB King,Memphis Slim,Big Bill Broonzy,Jimmy Reed,Jimmy Rushing,Muddy Waters,Jimmy Witherspoon,Lightin' Hopkins, the list goes on and on.And I don't care who got their start with Mayall.I've never liked Clapton.Don't know anything about Peter Green. And no matter how loud you call me an @#$%&,that song still sucks major.I'm also more than a "puported" Stones fan.You don't have to like Mayall to like the Stones.I heard nothing in that song that would remind me of the Rolling Stones.

Oh,and the Beatles don't suck.Love them do.

Pleased to meet you......

Not really, it's not like John's got a great voice or wrote great memorable songs.

Musically speaking I think he's rather crap as well!

I guess to each his own...

I for one THANK John Mayall for introducing us to Clapton, Peter Green & Taylor.
He had the insite to see "TALENT", John McVie, Mick Fleetwood, the list goes
on & on!! True he doesn't have the best voice out there, but some of his songs
are as good as anybodies.. Walking on Sunset, Room to Move, Supernatural
with P. Green, Blues for the Lost days... Alot of musicians hold him in high
regard.

And Yap???? you call yourself a Blues fans but knock or make fun of Mick Taylor every chance you get?? I wonder???

The Super-natural is all Peter Greens work, john just backs him.

Yes he's a vital person in the story and progress of British Blues, it's just a pity his music is so dire.

The miming is almost as bad as the Beatles Hello Goodbye video. Mayall's voice sounds awful compared to the Bluesbreakers with Clapton album. I love the way he is introduced as John Mayhall!!

But remember you can;t beat a Pukka Pie.

I like John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers; I'd much rather listen to them than The Beatles !

I don't know about the bass player, but the other three were obviously not taking this gig seriously. And they might have been high, too. Nice footage of a young Mayall, looking ever the disheveled Haight-Ashbury Laurel Canyon persona!

Wonder on,man. What does it matter whether I like him or not?Who am I?Is my opinion important?I sure hope not.I'm sure Mick Taylor isn't losing any sleep over what I say about him.He may be losing sleep over the fact that he made the bone-head move of all time back in 1974,but not over me....I hope. You would do well to not let me bother you, either. Its all just in good fun,and I can't help it if MT is big as a Hippo.

Pleased to meet you......

Ahhh. Mr Charisma Mayall! So that's where MT gets it from.

MT is wearing the same t-shirt as in the Hyde park photos, n'est-ce pas? (Or maybe he had a whole collection of that one style).
