My nine Stones concert....any thoughts on finding mp.3's of tunes?

Here are the nine times that I have seen them, ranked in order of personal enjoyment:

1. October 5, 1989 Birmingham, AL
(The single finest rock and roll show I ever witnessed live)

2. July 31, 1975 Greensboro, NC
(Maybe not the best musical event ever, but finally seeing your favorite band live for the first time is an unforgettable event)

3. December 9, 1997 Atlanta, GA
(Bridges to Babylon, and the new tunes like "Out of Control" really smoked)

4. February 8, 2006 Atlanta, GA
(Most recent concert, and they were fabulous)

5. October 15, 2005 Atlanta, GA
(Rather early in the ABB tour, and a wonderful night, especially adding in Otis Redding's "Mr. Pitiful" to the setlist)

6. August 6, 1994 Birmingham, AL
(Early in the Voodoo Lounge tour, a little ragged, but we had fantastic seats...it was my oldest son's first Stones show .... he was 9 years old at the time, and mesmerized)

7. November 21, 1989 Atlanta, GA
(My second Steel Wheels show, still excellent, but not quite at the same energy level at the Birmingham show. I understand there is a bootleg CD somewhere of this show, called "Back in Business"....is this true?)

8. November 16, 1994 Atlanta, GA
(Second show of Voodoo Lounge that I saw. Energy was great, but the sound in the Georgia Dome was the culprit here, bounced around, just not that great)

9. June 26, 1978 Greensboro, NC
(Early in the Some Girls tour. Short set, no encore, lots of times it just seemed like Mick was running around with a guitar while the band jammed on two chords. A Stones concert that is #9 on your list is still much better than, say, your average Foghat show, but this one was a little disappointing. Again, I know this was released on bootleg vinyl by the name of "Southern Quotations" ....)

I would love to have even a few tunes from any of the above shows. Does anyone have any suggestions on downloads, trading, etc., that might be helpful? Thanks, and long live the Stones!

Download the program called "uTorrent" and then go to [rollingstones.kicks-ass.org] which is the RocksOff torrent tracker. IMHO, they have the best torrent tracker around for the Stones. Atlanta 06 is up there but I don't know about the others.

Mongoose, i don't know if you're already hip to it, but you can also ask over in the Hot Stuff forum
whether anyone can post them for you or trade with you: [iorr.org]

That's one of the 6 concerts from 1975, which doesn't circulate on recording

Glad you liked it, StonesRule!

Erik_Snow - thanks for the info, it's probably best that the 75 show is still alive only in my memory

With sssoul - good suggestion, I'll try it!

Mongoose, I have the boots from the ATL shows in 1997 ands 2002. E-mail and I'll burn 'em for ya. Not quite computer-savvy enough to post 'em. Check your Nicky Hopkins post for my comment, too.

Wow, THANKS! E-mail is: BYoung1441@aol.com

I would only want the 1997 show. I could not attend the 2002 show at Turner Field because of a family commitment, and was so upset I didn't listen to any Stones music for about two months!
