England lost the seemingly unlosable 2nd Test at the Adelaide Oval a few hours ago. Bad luck Mick. and Charlie

by the way, what does "OT" mean?

i was hoping no Aussies would be on here, upsetting us England fans sad smiley

we snatched defeat from the jaws of a creditable draw. sad smiley

..i feel so sorry for Hoggard who bowled out of his skin.

Collingwood also did a fine job- the rest of the team are woefully below par.
We're carrying too many injuries and egos.

Time to bring in the youngsters...Mahmood's pace on the WACA pitch ,
is something i want to see.

and for christ's sake...drop Jones for Read.

probably the finest exponent of his art, thats ever lived.

He's a genius- (unlike Murali, who i consider a cheat and a chucker)

Nearing the end of his career-
shame he's saved one last hurrah,
to make his friends in England so unhappy.

Poms a bit stiff to lose this one....
Very undermanned England team at the moment. Are struggling without Vaughan, Jones, Trescothick, a fit and firing Harmison & Flintoff...you need a full strength team to test the Aussies.

Jagger was expected to be in Adelaide for this Test but ended up missing due to his father's death.....I'm sure he's glad he wasn't there to watch that dismal final day !!!

our selectors need to pull their collective fingers out of their arses, drop thwe woeful Jones for Read, bring in Mahmood (who will be a serious threat to the home side, in Perth), and give Monty a bowl.

We've got nothing to loose now - time to blood the youngsters.

very surprised that Monty wasn't selected, he looks like he can take wickets and not just restrict runs!

Perth not as seamer-friendly as it once was....

apparently so, though i fancy Mahmood to do the business on that pitch with the Freemantle Doctor assisting!

bring in Monty- drop Giles.

I thought we'd played Giles because 'apparently' Monty's fielding and batting is cr@p.

Giles - scores 27 under no pressure on a batting wicket with 500 on the board.

Giles - in for his fielding, drops crucial catch. Catches win matches. Drops Ponting on 35, he goes on to score 140 odd.

Giles - takes one wicket, that of Gilchrist who is battering it everywhere anyway

Giles - in for his batting, scores a duck when he is needed most. For his batting.

We need a bowler who can bowl more than anything else. We have to win two of the next three tests, minimum. We need to take 20 wickets, Giles will not do this or contribute to this target in any major way. Panesar might.

Lilian has (allegedly) asked the "curator" to make it livelier as of yore....

I blame the debacle on the weather....

You might have to scrape me off the floor at the end of the tour, but it'll be really good scrapings. - Mick Jagger

Off Topic. And if when Brits win at anything we helped popularise it's a fluke.
