Gas lights are all over Louisiana, especially in New Orleans and the New Orleans metro - but not as street lights. They are on houses, fences, garages, car ports, walls etc. So it's somewhat in the spirit of that.

I started this thread years ago under the name Buddy Young. Then I lost my password and had to pick a new name. I chose my current artist name Bowe, which is an international sounding version of my official passport name: Bouwe.

Don't know who Franco is, but "treacle" is a sugary syrup, no? A STICKY, sugary syrup. If one were to get treacle on one's fingers, one would have STICKY FINGERS. Ergo, my guess is that treaclefingers = sticky fingers. Am I warm?

Mystery solved! I've never seen that graphic before. At first I thought there was no way the “Franco” referred to was The Generalissimo, but after Googling the image I learned that the zipper cover was deemed to racy by tptb under Franco in Spain and the above artwork was used instead for the Spanish release. Most folks here are super-knowledgeable & probably already knew this, but I got my learnin’ in for the day
