GasLightStreet
I love Can't You Hear Me Knocking. A mind blowingly great song.
Gas lights are all over Louisiana, especially in New Orleans and the New Orleans metro - but not as street lights. They are on houses, fences, garages, car ports, walls etc. So it's somewhat in the spirit of that.
you don't skip a beat, stone. ok, that was awkward.

Bowe
I started this thread years ago under the name Buddy Young. Then I lost my password and had to pick a new name. I chose my current artist name Bowe, which is an international sounding version of my official passport name: Bouwe.

Okay treaclefingers, all these comments from you and I don't think your name explanation is on this thread. So, give us a glimmer.
thinking the same thing as it is one of the more enigmatic names on the board.
Maybe its an ode to Chuck?
I was Texile on Rocks Off: Im from Texas, and Exile is my favorite album. I like that one better, and am considering taking it back.
But honestly, my current name was just something I quickly threw out to sign up with so I could respond to a post I disagreed with. The 2 makes it generic.
Oh man, you two are really baiting me!
alright, I think this is really rather obvious...I owe my 'stage name' entire to Franco.
Don't know who Franco is, but "treacle" is a sugary syrup, no? A STICKY, sugary syrup. If one were to get treacle on one's fingers, one would have STICKY FINGERS. Ergo, my guess is that treaclefingers = sticky fingers. Am I warm?
treaclefingers: a name that does exactly what it says on the tin.
Mystery solved! I've never seen that graphic before. At first I thought there was no way the “Franco” referred to was The Generalissimo, but after Googling the image I learned that the zipper cover was deemed to racy by tptb under Franco in Spain and the above artwork was used instead for the Spanish release. Most folks here are super-knowledgeable & probably already knew this, but I got my learnin’ in for the day
damn...my 'cover' is blown.
