Don't know if this has been discussed before, but I was wondering why you guys picked your particular forum name and (in some less obvious cases) what does it mean?

I picked the name Buddy Young because my real name is Boudewijn de Jong. With a little fantasy Buddy Young could be the international translation for my real name :-)

And for example, there's another Dutch user on the board called 'slasausjes', which means salad sauces. Always wondered why he chose that name haha.

The first name is real, though

The 'So' and 'ho' are the first syllables of my first- and lastname respectively [projected onto the English alphabet]. I added the 'e' as my sreenname isn't a reference to the London area

No, not really. I'm Canadian, but of Scottish ancestry (as well as English and Irish). My real first and last names are Scottish, so my forum name is a play on that.
