Idol Mind Productions has released it too,
I was thinking about buying one and send it to Gazza for Christmas....but I guess he would smash it to pieces.

Aren't "official" bootlegs a bit redundant now?

Why buy it when you can - you know - make your own?

Ok. What you need is a computer (check), an internet connection (check), a CD burner (?), and some basic CD cover making software which comes with all editions of Nero (?). Then, your mother's brother should be called Robert.

My mummy's brother IS Robert, but I call him as "Bobby". Does that mean that I can make my own copy, or not?

It is a real collector's item. I don't have official boots anymore, but when I become rich I will buy everything I can get a hold of. It's worth more and it's cooler in some odd way.

There is only one and that's the one Gazza told us about. So yes, that is the one.

Interestingly, if all 15 new cuts are on one CD on the 'pressed' bootlegs then its most likely that they actually run too fast, when compared with the official 'Steel Wheels' LP. Certainly the download-sourced CD I have originally ran too fast. Perhaps somebody can tell us if any of the 'official' bootleg versions have been speed corrected?

You can fit in all 15 songs on a CD if you cut away some of the silent seconds between every song. It'll be just under 80 minutes if you do that.

SODD has released it too

Of course they are NOT too fast. The basically finished backing tracks of the later edited official versions are nearly always longer than the LP edits. That's the case here. Total time is something like 78 min.

Nevertheless I'd prefer a DoCD including the well known three rehearsal tracks: Mixed Emotions (reh.); Rock And A Hard Place I; Hellhound On My Trail. Together they are 6 min long.

The Halcyon release has the track spaces edited
down and clocks in at 77.36....and has better
sound than the two downloaded copies that I have....

Got this beautiful ultrarare (foldout paper sleeve, 150 numbered copies plus some "promos") on Tuesday. Highly recommended. Better sound than on my downloaded CDR, nearly "official quality", but not from master (that means still a little hiss).

As for the music: Unbelievable, longer, rougher and better than the official takes. Most songs have unfinished lyrics. The Blinded By Love outtake endes in a mess; with comment from Ron or Keith ("oh shit" or the like). But okay, these aspects were discussed here to death some weeks ago.

You will even like Mixed Emotions after listening to the unfinished backing track. For Your Precious Love is something like a mixture of Under The Boardwalk and Laugh I Nearly Died. Should have been a single instead of the somewhat boring Almost Hear You Sigh!

I think this will the most beloved release of that stuff.
