The More I Listen to the Glasgow Boot...

...the more I like it. It's a classic. The power and majesty of the Stones in 2006 is in your face, and the audience was just superb.

Here's to Scotland the Brave -- you folks brought out the best from the band with your support.

I'm so thankful that this gig was documented for posterity. To my mind, it ranks in the all-time top ten live boots, right up there with Brussels/Wembley 73 and Welcome to New York 72.

Yea, it blows away most boots from the last 25 years...not all, but most. It was great to be there too.

It's laughable to compare it with Brussels Affair!

it's definitely one of the best sounding boots of recent vintage. no way to compare it in terms of performance to the golden era, however. not even close.

golden era is not to be confused with the "golden years"

RocksOff
Rolling stones 2006
[rollingstones.kicks-ass.org]

Glasgow Rocks big time.

While a good boot it is not anywhere near what I experienced on the night.

The atmosphere in glasgow was Electric but it always is.

These guys are out to have a good time no matter what.

There is no other place on earth I would rather see a concert smiling smiley))

Tbh I they definately fiddled with this before they broadcast it.

John, I'm starting to repost it on the "Hot Stuff" forum. It's gonna take me awhile, as these are 320kbps mp3s. JJF is available for download now.

It's the best I've heard from this tour.

Definately!

Maybe for some the Stones started in 2005?
