I think this is the perfect setlist as it draws on lots of periods in their career, it covers lots of styles and is well paced. What do you think?
P.S. Drawing up a setlist is more difficult than it looks, but Jagger needs a f**king slap for his sorry excuse for one!!!

This setlist draws a lot of periods indeed.

Wouldn't work on any stage in the world. ;-)

Papo, I respect your opinion but you could'nt be more wrong!
Would you not enjoy this show? It's got some rarities, some
well known hits, some covers and some interesting new material.
It's only laziness that keeps them from experimenting and thats a
fact!

it sure as hell would on the one I'd gladly put together for it, single-handed!

iamthedj, it is a nice set of songs but, i think, what papo means is that there is noflow in it. Look at all the setlists the stones have used. They start out rocking then slow down with some ballads play some lesser known songs (not warhrses) break the 'tempo' of the show with the b-stage and then rock the house with the warhorses. If you look at your setlist, there is no flow in it. I love Rock me baby and let It Rock but wouldn't I Can't Turn You Loose be a better ending of the show...

Cheers,
Wuudy

Yes, that's exactly what I meant, I replied during lunch break and kept it too short. You also need some songs that you can play on autopilot, where you don't have to think about the next chord or the lyrics or the arrangement to get a relaxed feeling and some good vibes.

While I respect all these opinions, I feel that my original setlist does have "flow". Whoever said that they need to play "auto-pilot" songs is completely wrong. They've been coasting on auto-pilot for years now. It's time to come out of their collective coma, strap a pair on and actually blow people away!

Hey. You're a Bowie fan. Am I right? "I am the DJ, I am what I play"...

Favourite albums: Station to Station and heathen, you?
Got to see the man himself twice in Dublin 2003, on two
consecutive nights. Pretty special!

I always wonder why people who post setlists can't confine themselves to 20 songs. If you can't choose, sure, pick 25.

Othert than that, kissing***incannes, it's about time SMU was used as an encore!

Lodger is a very cool album. I love African Night Flight, Red Sails & Fantastic Voyage!

Yep. Heathen is awesome too. Took A Trip On A Gemini Space Ship, Slip Away, Heathen (The Rays) Filled with great tracks.

Heathen is a truly under-rated album. Very dark, spacey and shit-cool. Bowie is really singing at his best on that one. Also love "Slow Burn"!

YES: Slow Burn. That was the one I coudn't remember....
