Hey, i lent one of my friends 'let it bleed' recently and asked me about why the songs appear in a different order on the back of the lp jacket or (cd reissue).

is this the original running order of this album or was it just because the lettering fitted the original design of the jacket?

p.s. i love that guitar tone to 'midnight rambler' any ideas how it was achieved?

That was common at the time for some reason...Also not in order on Through The Past Darkly, and Hendrix's Smash Hits, The Beatles' Hey Jude from the same year...Tho it is an interesting alternate running order
