They're going to be in Oakland Thu night. Would like to check them out. Not many tix left,might try a last minute deal. I'm gonna bring a Federal Agent with me for leverage.

Just got back from seeing TCV. Not often the rhtym section of a band is highlighted. But that was certainly the case tonight. Good show. Considering all they did as the matreial from the album they just put out. You'd think with their body of work they might be more adventuorous. But Grohl was an animal on drums. With guns that would do Winchester and the USS Missouri proud. JPJ was very strong on bass with a heavy animated style that we never saw in Zep. Even providing backup vocals. Although the biggest gripe of the night had to be the sound mix. My first time at this venue. The lovely Fox theatre in Oakland. Just seemed like they didn't highlight the vocal mix real well. Which didn't do much to highlight the guy singing or the rhythm player. Both of whom seemed average. But,all in all a fun night. Good old Bluze Dude was in town on business and staying in the area. Last minute decision to go check out the show resulted in good seats. Nice venue. Decent show. But gimmie some Jimmy anytime.
