ok,so they cancelled Frankfurt 'cuz Keith didn't want to slip on a Frankfurter. and now they've cancelled cuz he doesn't want to slip on . . . an Amsterdamer?!?

This makes me apprehensive about whether there will be a 2007 tour at all . . .

Its not fair..the real fans suffer from this they could have done it right away...why did they wait????yes a strange feeling mixed with..anger.pfffff they can do it...why do they do this!!???

Hi, I am not sure, wether this information is correct or not, because my knowledge of the netherland language is not as good as it should be, but I think, one of the amsterdam concert's in 2006 is cancelled, and that's not a very new information.
For me it is a little bit bouring, that everyday someone wants to make just more panic around the fans with just another cancelled/and/or postponed show this summer. I am really happy with my two tickets for one show and that's Berlin. I trust the stones managment and Sir Mick, that they are touring in summer. I am a rooky in stonesland, but for my opinion, I think it is a little confusing, that in some threads people are "pissed off", because they lost "three of their seven" tickets, because the concerts are cancelled/postponed, and the same people write on the other hand the ticket prices are too high. The reason the ticket prices are on such a high level are people like that.

I don't understand the netherland language either, but in any case they sure will have to revisit drastically their ticket pricing policy in major european markets if they want to fill up huge stadiums and attract young audiences who have never been able to afford one of their shows.

one doesn't need a Phd to figure that out . . .

In short: The Stones are @#$%& around with us. We're fans, not dogshit. The whole story is completetly rubbish. They say about 8000 tickets were sold for this show.

Everything is wrong about this.....ik baal!!!Ga toch lekker in de kuip spelen..of het malieveld of in Scheveningen..als je er toch mee kapt!!!!Its over!!!

Ja wat krijgen we nou eigenlijk.. verwacht je een hand vol concerten in de Kuip, krijg je 1 concert in de Arena!!

Begin deze maand werd door het management van de Stones bekend gemaakt dat hun Europese tournee opnieuw moest worden ingedeeld op advies van de artsen van Keith Richards. Voor Nederland hield dit in dat het eerste Rolling Stones concert dat zou plaatsvinden op zondag 30 juli is verplaatst naar de dag erna en dat het tweede concert zou worden verplaatst naar een latere datum.

Zojuist is echter bekend geworden dat dit tweede concert in Nederland alsnog niet doorgaat. Met het opstellen van het nieuwe tourschema is nu al gebleken dat Nederland niet in het tweede gedeelte van de tournee is in te passen. Over de overige Europese concerten die zijn uitgesteld is nog niets bekend gemaakt. Het concert op maandag 31 juli gaat gewoon door.

Gekochte kaarten voor de afgelaste show van 1 augustus kunnen vanaf donderdag 22 juni 10.00 uur worden geretourneerd bij de grotere postkantoren, VVV's, GWK's, Free Record Shops en de bekende voorverkoopadressen. Kaarten kunnen worden ingeleverd tot uiterlijk 1 september 2006.

In beperkte mate kunnen kaarten ook worden ingeruild voor het eerste concert op 31 juli. Wegens de verplaatsing van dit concert en enkele productionele aanpassingen zijn extra kaarten beschikbaar gekomen voor de eerste show.

Maybe I'm being optimistic, but perhaps they cancelled Amsterdam with the possibility of replacing it with a show in Rotterdam, knowing that fans are not happy with the Amsterdam Arena. They may feel they can sell out a show at Feyenoord, while coming up short in Amsterdam.

OK, but then they should admit just that. It would create loads of goodwill, too.
