Favorite Mick

I like the 72, 75, and 78 Micks.

I'll go with the 78 one based on the funky punk look (people dressed in platic bags?), the strength of Some Girls, and "Hound Dog".

Which one do you like best - any stage of career is okay to choose?

I don't know which is my favorite...but my worst is the short haircut, corporate to the bone, Steel Wheels Mick.

I probably will go with 1972 Mick for the pre-corporate Stones and go with Voodoo Lounge Mick for Post Corporate Stones.

The 1973 Mick was the coolest for me. Extravaganza, decadent, glitter, but rocks like mutha***! winking smiley

Peter O'Toole.

Good one, in which case I'll vote for Gazza.

Seriously, in most ways, 1969, but there's a lot of good Mick scattered about through the years...

1969 Mick is my favorite by far.

Never seen him look cooler than he does in the footage from Madison Square Garden.

The beginning through the Undercover era, everything about them since then obviously sucks.

Oh, and feel free to badmouth me for my opinion. I won't see your sad attempts at insulting me because I won't be looking at this thread again. I have a life and don't need to waste my time defending my opinions and arguing about them with children. Flame on.

Jagger even changed his dialect if comparing Manchester 1973 to Newcastle 1973 - 1 day later - he's a lizard
I give my vote to Mick Taylor - as I'm not too good at remembering specific dates
