These two gentlemon singin on this one have both strong connections to the Stones:
Pugh Rogefeddt who first covered Vigilante Man in Swedish and whose vocal efforts
we're first launched in to.. was present some days along the Exila sessions,
since he was a school buddy of Astrid's , Bill's current wife.
Second voice is the punk father of Sweden: Joakim Thåström,
I followed his career pretty closely 1978-85 and for sure he covered many Stones songs during that period.

And nevah evah forget Dr Feelgood - here w/ Route 66

So, a band that outsold by millions the Stones' catalog year after year during the last 41 years and counting is less influential than the Stones?
Sorry mate but I can hear more Zeppelin than Stones in about every rock band formed after 1970, the 80's alone were full of bad Zeppelin clones with all those metal bands.

Yet, something is similar in the spirit..then I mean strictly music-wise.. (and the vocalist here has sung with Ronnie &
I reckon a couple of the musicians also played with RW at the same occasions)

The Stones have possibly inspired more people to pick up a guitar than any other group. A lot of people say the songs are simple if that is the case why does nobody really sound like Keith?

Keith's playing guitar is simple and easy with the openG.
Anyone can easily play Stone's riffs; Keith's not a virtuoso.
But no one can sound as Keith, even RW can't sound like him. Only Mick Jagger seems to replicate that sound. In a bigger bang there are a lot of Jagger's guitar sounding like Keith, as well as on sad sad, don't stop................

they are kindered spirits. There will probably never be anotehr duo quite like them so different yet in many ways so similiar.
