I am not kidding when I say this, I'm not tryin to be political, I was driving from my bar today, and I have to go by the state house, where everyday, their is a different group protesting something. This one group, I have no idea who or what their called, I guess about 50 of them were holding signs that said, "Thank God For Dead Soilders" "Thank God For 9/11" "God Is Punishing America" I almost drove my fcukin car off the road, I wanted just hit them with my car at 100mph, and I'm not a violent man, but I just drove off knowing that they have mental problems in the head, and they had state troopers protecting them. There's protesting, and then theres just sick, sick people....

Somebody posted a link to a video about this group of people.
There's 7 billions people in the world. Of course, there's millions of freaks or imbecils in that amount.
But the worst thing are people who hurt other physicly, abuse children or beat up family-members.
This gang you're talking about make us mad, but that's all. To look at the bright side of them, I mean.

They are entitled to an opinion.. even a foolish one like this one.. just look the other way and drive on.

RollingStonesUSA, that group is from a small church in Iowa, I think, maybe Ohio, but they believe that God is punishing the USA for allowing homosexuals to marry and a variety of other random policies and acts by our country. The congregation of this church totals about 100 members and they are almost all related to each other. Sadly, they also show up at funerals of dead soldiers with those signs. Just ignore them, my friend. Thankfully, we live in a country that allows us the freedom of speech and the right to assemble. As much as I disagree with their opinions I respect their rights. Just look the other way as best you can.

A few months back, someone (I think it was Reptile) posted a video of someone interviewing a woman from that group. She was awful. Do you remember who I'm talking about?

Is that the same group?

Actually this conflict is just starting to come to a boil. Strap on your bandoliers and i-pods men cause Iran is next, then Syria then (fill in the blank) Remember New York! Remember London! Remember Madrid! (just to mention a few) Oh, and those "people" at the State House....they're called International Communists....crazy as bedbugs the lot of 'em. They'll sacrifice us all for their agenda of world-wide socialism.

They are doing this at the funerals of fallen military men and women. Quoting from the bible their justification for doing so. I have seen them interviewd. Don't worry about them. In fact there has sprung up a counter group 30,000 strong and growing that the families are asking to ward them off of that most private time. Be cool and thanks again.

Good luck...I hear those church people buy up all the "on casket" tix available just for their poster carrying congregation.

The group in question is Fred Phelps' Westboro Baptist Church, based out of Topeka, Kansas. They used to come to our campus (I got my BA at the University of Kansas) almost every week to call everyone who walked by a fag. Their activities started by picketing the funerals of homosexuals who died violent deaths related to hate crimes (like Matthew Shephard in Wyoming); now they have turned to soldiers' funerals. They are completely nuts, but fortunately not very numerous (only Fred Phelps' extended family). Phelps himself was a lawyer who was later disbarred.

In any case, take a look at their website: www.godhatesfags.com. It is the craziest thing I have ever seen. So absurd it is almost funny.
