Maysles.
L&G captures the band in great form, but I think as a film, its a bit overrated (like SAL its also a bit too concentrated on one person for my liking)
LSTNT is visually stunning (that opening aerial shot of Sun Devil Stadium was worth the admission price alone) and a better concert film than L&G overall, although its not as great performance wise and, most annoyingly, there are far too many songs edited so that they can cram 130 minutes worth of concert footage into a 90 minute film.
One Plus One is mostly unwatchable, and Cócksucker Blues just isnt THAT interesting. The fact that so much of it is obviously staged detracts from the supposed documentary aspect of it.
Michael Lindsay-Hogg should have been listed here for RnR Circus. Fine movie.
Scorsese blew the chance to make a great Stones movie IMO.
