it was about time that they played beast of burden!!!! let's hope that they drop night time is the best time, and midnight ramble and oh not you again for beast of burden and shelter.
You really hope they drop Rambler? the very good news of these latest concerts is that Rambler is constantly played!!! How can anyone hope they drop it?!
"got to be worked on don't have no bark nor bite..."
Midnight Rambler is a much better song than Helter Skelter.
McCartney should stop touring. He stinks. He can't play guitar nor bass nor any musical instrument for that matter. He's a bad singer, keeps hitting false notes. He's a wimp too. A vegaterian rock star, come on!!
Beast of Burden? So what - listen to the boring live version on the new CD. Rambler was the best song on the Rio broadcast, what are you talkin' bout? I'm still waiting for "Loving Cup", "She Was Hot", "Soul Survivor/Must be Hell", or "Time Waits for No One". Where be those at?
I liked it when it came out but I'd trade it in for a never - played - before number or a new one off of ABB in a second. Haven't heard it since Keith reworked it (shearer9 has kinda weird taste it seems like)...

'94 onwards Beast Of Burden actually overall sounds like Beast Of Burden (except for the way burden is pronounced on the last couple of tours). It wasn't played in '89 & in '81 missed the feel of the album version.

what are you high??? MR is one of the best numbers my friend!!!!
i was at the show last night and unfortunately security made the first half of the show a nightmare for me and i was being moved during beast of burden but from what i could concentrate on, it was a GREAT version!! Followed by Bitch and later MR and Shelter. the section i was in during those last 3 was so lame - i had to squat during MR to please the people behind me who were sitting down and eventually was kicked out anyway. by the time i got settled in a good seat, it was the b stage and warhorse avenue. i need the bootleg of this show to actually relax and enjoy it - fabulous show though. my whole attendance there was a gamble anyway...

I've interpreted it as him just playing around with the sound of the word burden and pronoucing it "Baahden." I havent heard enough recent versions do declaire that hes saying bottle. Beast of Burden is one of my favorites and I agree with reptile that its boring now the way they play it.

sounds like a strange concert experience.why all the moving around???????
great beast of burden in phillie in 02,also reptile about those mccartney comments, its very obvious you have not seen mccartney live, only a lunnie would make such ridiculous comments.mccartney in 02,at the garden in ny,was stunning,he has the best touring band, great vocals, great set list and the wimp as you called him played an hour more than the stones.33 songs ,not 20.im not knockin on the stones jagger runs around like crazy and is the better performer, but mccartney is a pure talent, like him or not.
i heard the song as i was being moved by security and repositioned in the nosebleeds temporarily - but i thought it sounded better last night than the club version on the last tour.
