but the only thing I know about this gig in December 3rd 1981, was that it was a concert at the President's riverboat, in New Orleans.
I don't know anything more about it?
Why was it played? Was the President there? etc.
Someone know something, perhaps, maybe, by any chance?

I see no mention of the Stones playing anywhere on this date.

Where does that info come from Erik? It would be easier if you mentioned a source. I never heard of this, and the 81/82 tour is my favourit one.

Yes, but it does not mention a gig taking place. If there was a gig on this occasion, I think we would know about it?

There was no Stones show on 03-12-1981.

I don't think it's the President of the US. But the President's Riverboat was a venue -- I have a warren zevon show from there, in I think '83.

Erik, what you're talking about sounds somehow familiar, but i can't remember where i read about it. i'm pining to know what you dig up about it.

Party yes, show no, ok? I mean if there was a show, this would have been as sought after as the Ian memorial, by collectors, almost.

Only these 2 places. Funny that nobody knows about it. It's supposed to be on December 3rd 1981.
No need in writing "I haven't heard about it, so this is not correct." Even though it's not for certain that there was a gig at that day, there's got to be a reason for the rumour. Basement News are very seldom wrong in their information.

They never played Soul Survivor live.Ever. Wouldn't you think it would be known by someone on a board like this? It can't be covered up as good as the JFK assassination. If it's true then Keith was in the grassy knoll.

Beacuse there isn't any tapes available even among the most hardcore-collector, so how could Virgil have it? The setlist is unknown. Besides, look at the setlist.

JJFlash, you haven't even heard of the "rumour" of the gig, so you can't know if it's true or not true.
Of course, it wasn't a public concert, but some sort of private party.

If Virgil posts a live version of Jigsaw Puzzle(never played) and Soul Survivor(never played), I'll eat my left shoe. Sorry, I just don't buy it. Virgil's like "Oh yeah, here's the setlist, I didn't realize NOONE ever heard this!"

JJ Flash is right of course. Unfortunately. It would have been awesome to hear live versions of Soul Survivor and Jigsaw Puzzle.
