and had total control in a perfect world.......i would quickly ditch ronnie
rehire mt...and somehow figure out how to put fire up riff's ass again-or to determine if he is really capable at all?

lure wyman back into the cult with profuse amounts of $$$money$$ and barely legal teenage sweedish bikini model sluts.

Then with great swiftness aplomb hire andy AND glyn johns for all grunt/engineering/day in day out production work
make them co producers with vested points in the album

glimmer twins on executive production

SEND DON WAS A LETTER TELLING HIM HOW BADLY HE SUX AND HOW HE ISN'T GOING NEAR THIS ONE-just because i could : )

NO HIDDEN HAND BEHIND THE SCENES RECORD COMPANY STAFF PRODUCER BULSHIT LIKE HIRING RICK RUBIN ON THE SLY OR WHATEVER IDIOT FLAVOR PRODUCER OF THE WEEK IS AT THE MONOLITHIC IDIOT MACHINE KNOWN AS "THE MAJOR RECORD LABEL)

THEN
sequester the boys at a secluded british farm in the spring with an analog 24 track 2" tape deck
supply an ALL ANALOG STUDIO signal path
NO PRO TOOLS
NO AUTO TUNE
NO COMPUTERS
NO I AM NOT A LUDDITTE
THEN

block out all satellite TV nonsense and jI would impliment a vinyl only policy....
just give the BOYS turntables and loads of old blues lps and soul/reggae/r&b/old rock and roll records
then one helping of.... beggars banquet/sticky/bleed/satanic/exile as mandatory listening at least once a week to use as a qality guage.

give them plenty of weed/speed/alcohol/espresso/fags/laxatives/etc

NO WIVES ALLOWED

[concubines are allowed AFTER work for the day is done ; )

hire Ian McLagan on real piano/b3 -no bullshite midi synth dross please
if needed bobby keys can hang around and play
same goes for hiring merry clayton and tina turner on backup vox as needed
get rocky dijon or airito on percussion
have taj mahall and lee perry do cameos/guest star on 2 tracks
confine the whole project to 3 months
2 months for rehersal/writing/recording
1 month to mix/sequence/master/art work
Done

this is like fantasy football for me
i didn't know about rocky RIP-praises and respect

airito will do fine

carry on lads and dream a little dream

i do think my version would be pure fire

and confining them to a limited amount of time to put it together +analog/tape is the key

an adjunct to keep everyone happy....i will allow the concession of ronnie and MIck T + plus riff if he is still loopy from the cracked skull

I'm with you on all of that.

The only thing I would personally add is to require them to play at my birthday party every year as long as they are physically able.

@#$%& had a master plan, too.

Yours is more worthwhile.

Have you thought about the day to day reality of telling them what they are to do?

The only thing you'd archieve - the band would split up the very second you declared your points.

is that the reason they call it split-second?

Also no backstage pass for Ronnie. Time to get the Stones back to music.

Oh, and I would also insist on a firm no-smoking policy. It can't be doing Mick's voice any good to be surrounded by toxic fumes.

When I'm looking and listen to the Movie 'shine a light' it seems to me that the only person on stage that still remember the songs was Ron, so what's this all about let him leave the band?

I'd probably try to get them back together again and write songs for a new album for next year's release. But before the writing sessions, I'd send them on a mini club-tour of 4 or 5 cities to play Two-nighters at selected clubs of their own choice so they are hot when they get into the studio. That shall tremenduously reduce the time spent on mixing and overdubs.

Funny how someone seems to think that members of the Stones themselves don't have a say.

Firstly, i would put a microphone to both Keith and Ron to do harmoines; send Blondie, bernard and Lisa to support Susan Boyle. Send Leavell to the church, i want McLagan.
Where is Max Romeo, where is Lee Perry?

The whole group back to the studio to repeat Undercover to BB, with other producers (Daniel Lanois? ............)

Where is Max Romeo,

Forty-two years after his entry into the musical arena, reggae pioneer Max Romeo, is ready to hang up the gloves. In a recent interview with the Observer, the singer indicated that he is in the closing stage of a rich and colourful musical career.

With a significant 42 albums to his credit, Max Romeo will, in 2010 release his final album, appropriately titled, The Last Hurrah.

"I am not doing any album after this," Max Romeo whose average is an album per year, told the Observer. He emphasised, "Everything I have to say, I have said it already. So if I continue, I'll be only repeating myself."

That's very nice:
" He emphasised, "Everything I have to say, I have said it already. So if I continue, I'll be only repeating myself."
Maybe the Stones should be in the same way
